Awkwafina

Awkwafina is an American singer and actress started with humorous raps that addressed the racial and sexual identities of people. After which she moved into Hollywood the singer and actress released the rap track series. Born Nora Lum to Chinese and Korean parents who immigrated to Forest Hills Queens her first experience with music came through the trumpet. Then, she started hip-hop and classical training. While in college, she took classes in writing and women's studies. It was also during this time that she spent some time learning Mandarin in Beijing. She didn't start focusing on music until after she graduated. Her track My Vag, a response track to Mickey Avalon's My Dick gained viral popularity through the Internet in the year 2012. The track was later included on her album Yellow Ranger released in 2014. The album also featured popular hits, including the body positive Queef and a winking, hometown tour NYC Bitche$. This latter song was directly tied to Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide for 2015, which was a travel guide. With musician and author among her accomplishments, she decided to focus on becoming a third endeavor actor. Alongside early TV shows such as Girl Code and Tawk she appeared in films like Neighbors 2. Storks and Bad Rap. In 2018 she scored breakout roles in a handful of notable films, including Dude Ocean's 8.8 and Crazy Rich Asians. That June she issued the EP in Fina We Trust.
